Stay Alive .... Just Drive! is a traffic crash prevention, awareness, and education program aimed at curbing distracted driving and promoting safe driving. Today, most people consider unsafe driving as a major personal threat to themselves and others. Ultimately our goal is to reach every motorist, at least once a day with our message. THERE'S A HANNAH GRANT IN EVERY COMMUNITY

Lynn Grant and her daughters Shannon and Hannah were on the way to a birthday party one afternoon in July 2007. As the third vehicle they proceeded through the intersection only to be struck by another vehicle operated by a distracted driver who ran the red light at 55 mph. All three were injured, but Hannah who took the direct impact of the crash suffered a traumatic brain injury. The drivers failure to pay attention sentenced Hannah to life in a wheelchair. Motorists Must Take Driving Seriously

Launched in Lee County, FL, the Stay Alive .... Just Drive! campaign has introduced a new educational traffic safety program to the motoring public. The program was developed to encourage drivers to rethink their perspective on motor-vehicle crashes and increase awareness to reduce crash occurrences, resulting in a significant decrease in the number of injuries and fatalities. Poor U.S. Record

Currently, the only crash prevention program of any significance in the U.S. deals with impaired driving. Critically important, the program fails to recognize the plethora of other circumstances responsible for crashes. Speeding, distracted driving, unsafe towing and improperly loaded vehicles are just a few of the examples of major causes for crashes. Add to these the number of inexperienced and poorly trained drivers, this truly becomes a recipe for disaster. Read more »

In this presentation SAJD uses statistics, studies, actual stories and powerful visual effects to help drivers recognize how distractions reduce their safety. We reinforce the importance that drivers remain fully focused on the driving task at hand and be prepared for other drivers who are not.
